Champagne Pascal Agrapart
The Agrapart house is located in Avize, in the heart of the Côte des Blancs, where the family has been cultivating vines since the late 19th century. The estate was founded by Arthur Agrapart and has been passed down from generation to generation to Pascal and Fabrice Agrapart, who profoundly shaped the estate's identity starting in the 1980s by asserting a demanding vision of terroir champagne.
The vineyard spans approximately twelve hectares, primarily located in Grand Cru and Premier Cru classified villages of the Côte des Blancs, including Avize, Cramant, Oger, and Oiry. The chalky soils, typical of this area, are predominantly planted with Chardonnay, the estate's central grape variety, worked parcel by parcel to translate the nuances of each site.
Vineyard management is based on practices that respect natural balances, with controlled yields and minimal interventionist winemaking. The cuvées are most often produced without excessive dosage, in a quest for precision, tension, and terroir readability, which has contributed to making Agrapart a benchmark among grower champagnes.
