Kortavebis marani
Kortavebis marani is a small family-run natural wine estate located in the village of Erketi, in the Guria region of Western Georgia. Founded by Davit and Tariel Kobidze, it cultivates around twenty ancient indigenous varieties on plots where viticulture is carried out using organic and natural practices, without the use of pesticides or chemical additives.
The estate's production, limited to a few thousand bottles per year, includes red, white, rosé, and orange wines made from traditional Georgian grape varieties such as chkhaveri, jani-skhilatobani, aladasturi, sakmiela-kamuri, and tsolikauri, showcasing the region's viticultural diversity.
Kortavebis marani's natural wines are distinguished by their authenticity and their strong connection to Georgian winemaking tradition, favoring honest and vibrant expressions of local grapes.
