Hautrizon Saumur Blanc 2023

Saumur | White | 2023

The Ch'ti winemakers of Saumur, passionate about wine, have transformed their agricultural heritage into a 30-hectare vineyard in the heart of the Saumur appellation. Our wines combine suppleness, fruitiness, and elegance. This cuvée, a perfect expression of our clay-limestone terroirs, is a Chenin Blanc that is both mineral and fruity, ideal for immediate enjoyment or for cellaring for a few years. Our opinion on the vintage

A slightly tart palate brought by its lime and citrus aromas. The nose expresses notes of green apple and the wine's effervescence carries airy aromas that leave an impression of freshness.

The grape varieties are dominated by Cabernet Franc (approximately 50%), complemented by Chenin Blanc (30%) and Chardonnay (20%), allowing for the production of wines in all three colors.

The estate was founded in 2002 by Hervé and Christine, who came from an agricultural background in northern France, initially focused ... Lire plus
