The winemakers of the Saumur region, passionate about wine, have transformed their agricultural heritage into a 30-hectare vineyard in the heart of the Saumur appellation. With 50% Cabernet Franc, 30% Chenin Blanc, and 20% Chardonnay, our wines combine suppleness, fruitiness, and elegance. The 'Mélodie' cuvée, a perfect expression of our clay-limestone soils, is a Chenin Blanc that is both mineral and fruity, ideal for enjoying now or aging for a few years. A true gem to discover!

Our opinion on the vintage
This wine has a pale yellow color with emerald highlights. On the nose, delicate notes of white flowers and fresh fruit emerge. On the palate, a beautiful harmony unfolds with perfect balance and lingering aromas of fresh fruit on the finish. Ideal to accompany white fish or seared scallops, this wine is a true delight for the palate.
Located in the heart of the Saumur appellation, Domaine du Moulin de l’Horizon spans approximately 30 hectares, situated around the Butte du Moulin de l’Horizon, one of the highest points in the Saumur region at approximately 110 meters above sea level. This geological context contributes to the production of wines with supple balance and clear fruit. The grape varieties are dominated by Cabernet Franc (approximately 50%), complemented by Chenin Blanc (30%) and Chardonnay (20%), allowing for the production of wines in all three colors.
