This 100% Pinot Noir wine boasts a striking, slightly brick-red hue. On the nose, intense notes of sloe berries hint at a promising tasting experience. In the heart of the Pays des Pierres Dorées, the Domaine de Champ-Fleury is nestled in a peaceful landscape of rolling hills, about ten kilometers from Villefranche-sur-Saône. The vines, planted on well-exposed clay-limestone soils facing east, benefit from a bright and consistent environment. Here, Beaujolais is expressed in a serene, balanced version, supported by a preserved natural setting.
The connection to the profession is deeply rooted. Louis-Marie grew up in the vineyards and cellar, taking over the family estate in 2007 from his father, who himself was the heir of several generations. The centuries-old buildings tell the story of this continuity, made up of inherited gestures and deliberate choices.
