Our opinion on the vintage
Pale and brilliant in color, with a delicate nose of fresh red fruit and citrus. The palate is full, structured, and perfectly balanced, with lovely freshness. An elegant and lingering finish.
Located on the heights of Le Beausset, a few kilometers from Bandol, Domaine La Font des Pères is set in a landscape of steep terraces, patiently shaped over centuries. Here, the vineyard is never disassociated from its surroundings: it works with the slope, the stone, and the light, in an environment as demanding as it is spectacular.
The history of the site dates back to the 16th century, when Observant monks settled on these lands rich in natural springs. They developed food crops and the first vines there, giving the place its name: "la Font" for water, and "les Pères" (Fathers) for those who cultivated it. This historical dimension continues to structure the identity of the estate, deeply rooted in its environment.
