Our opinion on the vintage

The wine, a shimmering pale yellow, captures the light with purity. The nose opens with a delicate array of ripe pear, white flowers, and candied citrus, underscored by a subtle mineral touch that hints at the terroir. On the palate, the attack is ample and crystalline, carried by a beautiful, vibrant tension and a silky texture. Domaine Cauvard is a family-owned winery located in Beaune, Burgundy. It cultivates approximately eighteen hectares of vines spread across several communes in the Côte de Beaune, with appellations such as Beaune, Pommard, Volnay, Aloxe-Corton, Corton-Charlemagne, and Hautes-Côtes de Beaune.

Production is based on a traditional approach, with a focus on vineyard work and vinification by plot to preserve the identity of each terroir. Harvesting can be manual or mechanical depending on the cuvées.
