Delicate nose of white fruits and flowers. Fresh and balanced palate, with a beautiful minerality. Clean and elegant finish.
Located in the commune of Jongieux, Savoie, Domaine Carrel & Senger is part of an ancient viticultural history, documented in this area since the 16th century. The estate is situated on the left bank of the Rhône, between the river and Lake Bourget, on the calcareous-marly foothills of Mont du Chat.
The vineyard spans approximately 33 hectares, predominantly planted on steep slopes, particularly on the Cru Marestel, the historic terroir of the Altesse grape variety, which produces the most structured Roussettes de Savoie. These challenging, steep hillsides, however, provide optimal sun exposure and gradual ripening, fostering precise and balanced expressions.
