Vignobles Francois Lurton

Humo Blanco Pinot Noir 2022

Lolol Valley | Red | 2022

François Lurton, a fifth-generation winemaker, cultivates unique vineyards in Argentina, Chile, Spain, and France. In 2000, François and his brother Jacques found the perfect location in Chile’s Colchagua Valley. The site is situated in an area that, at the time, had never been used for viticulture. Today, the estate spans 28 hectares of vineyards and has become a sought-after destination for wine production. Located on the “Ruta del Vino” in a stunning setting, they are developing wine tourism on the estate to cater to the growing number of wine enthusiasts in this beautiful region!

Our opinion on the cuvée

An intense aroma of ripe black fruits and spices. Generous, supple, and sunny on the palate. A rich, indulgent finish.

Accustomed to working with very different vineyards worldwide, he approaches Mas Janeil with an open methodology, adapted to the specific constraints of the site. After a period of tenancy, he acquired the best plots of the estate, which now comprise approximately 30 hectares of vines, complemented by large areas of natural heathland preserved around the vineyard.
