Located in the heart of the Sarce Valley, in the Côte des Bar region, the Champagne Marc Hennequière estate is a family-run winery based in Avirey-Lingey. Marc Hennequière, who developed a passion for viticulture at a young age, planted his first vines there in 1980 and has never left this terroir where he was born. During the 1988 harvest, he met Marie-Nelly in the vineyards, marking the beginning of a shared journey of life and champagne. The estate produces champagnes of character—authentic and refined—sourced exclusively from plots located in the commune of Avirey-Lingey. Marc and Marie-Nelly work together in the vineyard and in the champagne-making process, guided by a philosophy of simplicity, respect for nature, and artisanal expertise. The family legacy continues today with the arrival of their daughter Clothilde, who divides her time between the vineyards, the wine, and welcoming guests.
