Last chance

The "Last Chance " collection brings together vintages that have become rare—and in some cases, nearly impossible to find. Here, there are onlyone or two bottles left: the last of a vintage or wines we’re not sure we’ll be able to offer again. If a bottle catches your eye on this page, don’t wait too long: once it’s sold out, it probably won’t be back...

Why are these wines listed as “Last Chance”?

There are several reasons why a particular wine is included in this collection:

  • Stock is very limited, with only one or two collars still available.
  • The end of the vintage, before the new harvest arrives (or not).
  • Wines produced in limited quantities, sometimes from very small plots.
  • The winemaker's decision not to produce the same vintage again or to change the blend.
  • Wineries that produce organic or natural wines, where each vintage is unique.

These wines are often impossible to reproduce exactly, which gives them a special value.

Unique bottles, precious moments

The "Last Chance" collection is perfect for:

  • Wine enthusiasts looking for rare or unique wines.
  • Those who enjoy discovering wines off the beaten path.
  • Collectors who want to keep a rare bottle in their cellar.
  • A unique and authentic gift, steeped in history.

Every wine tells the story of a specific moment in time: a vintage, a terroir, a winemaker’s choice. Once the bottle is opened, that moment can never be recreated.

Vintage End: A Mark of the Times

By the end of a vintage, the wine has often become more harmonious. The aromas have blended together, the structure has refined, and the balance is fully expressed. This is sometimes the ideal time to taste a wine at its peak, at a specific moment in its evolution.

Some of the bottles in this selection can also be cellared for wine enthusiasts who enjoy watching them evolve over time.

Tasting tip

For wines at the end of their drinking window, take the time to read the product description and serving recommendations. The right temperature or a brief decanting can bring out the best in a wine that has reached a key stage in its evolution.
