Our opinion on the vintage
This wine boasts an intense ruby color that immediately catches the eye. On the nose, aromas of red and black fruits unfold delicately, bringing freshness and a touch of sweetness. On the palate, balance and roundness combine harmoniously to offer a pleasant and convivial sensory experience. Perfect for accompanying an aperitif with friends or a simple meal, this wine will satisfy your taste buds without any pretension.
Located on the Cérons plateau, in the historic heart of Graves, Domaine du Salut has been run by Aurélia and Frédéric since 2015. The vineyard lies on very well-draining sandy-gravelly soils, remnants of an ancient tributary of the Garonne, with a subsoil rich in nutrients and naturally high biological activity.
Upon their arrival, the couple initiated a structured environmental approach. White grape parcels are covered with grass (oats, vetch, clover) to enrich the soil with organic matter and promote natural nitrogen input, contributing to the aromatic development of the grapes. No herbicides are used: soil cultivation prioritizes traditional mechanical practices, adapted to the nature of each parcel. The estate was certified Terra Vitis in 2015, then converted to organic farming starting in 2020.
