Our opinion on the cuvée
This Riesling displays a golden hue with green reflections. On the nose, expressive floral aromas of honeysuckle and chamomile tea emerge. On the palate, freshness and breadth harmoniously combine, leading to a fruity finish dominated by ripe citrus. Ideal as an aperitif or to accompany salads and light dishes, this vegan wine will delight lovers of fresh and fruity wines.
Located in Alsace, Maison Joseph Cattin is a family-owned estate with a viticultural history dating back to 1720. For over three centuries, each generation has contributed to the estate's development, building upon a deep understanding of Alsatian terroirs and a continuous transmission of expertise.
The vineyard has been progressively established and structured around the main regional grape varieties. From the early 20th century, Joseph Cattin, a prominent figure in the family, distinguished himself through a meticulous approach to the relationship between the vine and its environment, recognized at the time by receiving a 'model vineyard' diploma. This focus on terroir remains a guiding principle for the estate's work today.
