Our opinion on the cuvée

This rosé wine boasts a clear, brilliant rose quartz hue with shimmering silver reflections. On the nose, it reveals fresh and fruity notes of redcurrant, strawberry, iris, violet, jasmine, pink peppercorns, and white pepper. On the palate, its frank and fleshy attack unveils pastry notes, bergamot zest, and tangy oxalis, while the warm, fruity, and aniseed core provides comfort. The mineral and saline finish invigorates its expression, making it perfect for enjoying this summer as an aperitif or with seafood dishes.

Corsican Wines

Corsica | France

“Corsican Wines” generally refers to all wines produced on the island of Corsica, spread across several appellations such as Patrimonio, Ajaccio, Corse Figari, Coteaux du Cap Corse, Corse Calvi, among others. Corsican wines are known for their varied aromatic expressions, reflecting Mediterranean influences and diverse soils.

Corsican wines are crafted from indigenous grape varieties such as Niellucciu, Sciaccarellu, Vermentinu (Vermentino), as well as internationally cultivated varieties grown locally. Production includes reds, rosés, and whites, with styles ranging from fruity to more structured.

I do not have precise information regarding the existence of a single entity named “Corsican Wines” as an officially structured wine estate, with a specific creation date, identified winemakers, or particular certifications.
