Our opinion on the cuvée

This Fleur de Roche wine proves to be a true sensory delight. On the nose, it reveals delicate aromas of hawthorn, lemon, and freshly cut herbs. On the palate, the balance is remarkable, combining a beautiful freshness with a creamy texture. The persistent finish, full of tension, encourages savoring every sip. Perfect as an aperitif or paired with shellfish, fish, white meats, or goat and sheep cheeses, this wine will delight enthusiasts of fresh and aromatic wines.

Château Les Hauts de Caillevel

Château Les Hauts de Caillevel

Bordeaux | France

Located in Pomport, in the Southern Bergerac region of Dordogne, Château Les Hauts de Caillevel is an 18-hectare estate taken over in 2018 by Pierre-Étienne and Charlotte. Captivated by the beauty of the site and the potential of the terroir, they chose to settle there with their family and embark on a new life dedicated to viticulture. The vineyard cultivates 11 grape varieties on Karstic rocks of the Monbazillac plateau and on clay-limestone slopes, imparting unique character and aromatic richness to the wines. Although from a non-viticultural background, Pierre-Étienne trained in organic and biodynamic viticulture and winemaking, with Charlotte supporting him in this shared project. The estate is managed using organic farming practices, with constant attention paid to the ecosystem's balance. The wines produced are distinguished by their vibrant, distinctive, and generous character.
