Our opinion on the cuvée
A generous and indulgent cuvée, with aromas of black fruits, sweet spices, and violet. The palate is supple and velvety, with fine tannins and a subtly spicy finish that brings freshness and balance. A modern Languedoc red, perfect with grilled dishes, red meats, or aged cheeses.
Maison Bruno Andreu is part of a long lineage of wine producers in Languedoc. In Montblanc, Emmanuelle and Bruno Andreu craft forward-looking wines, based on precise plot selections and rigorous blending. This demanding approach gives rise to a coherent, clear, and resolutely contemporary range.
During the renovation of the barrel cellar, a unique discovery highlighted the site's historical roots: a statue of the Virgin Mary, a relic offered by the Bishop of Béziers in the 16th century to protect the village, its inhabitants, and its vines. A powerful symbol, testifying to the profound viticultural heritage of the site.
Bruno Andreu is now recognized as one of the most promising winemakers of his generation. With over twenty years of experience in crafting prestigious cuvées in Languedoc, he produces precise and ambitious wines, now available in over twenty countries and regularly awarded in international competitions.
