The winery was founded by three friends—Étienne Pikkety, Antoine Maffray, and Thibaud de Clerq—who decided to create the Posey line with fun, colorful labels. The wines are also available in organic versions and capture the spirit of the Languedoc. For the past five years, Posey has been offering vacation-friendly wines, bottled with care and attention to detail.

The wines are made from vines planted as early as 1923 near the Montpellier sandstone formations, benefiting from an excellent south-facing exposure. The terroir is characterized by marl rich in clay and limestone, alluvial deposits, fine red soil mixed with flint, and exposed limestone boulders.

These soil and exposure conditions enable the production of premium AOP Languedoc wines, which are full-bodied and well-balanced while expressing the vineyard’s Mediterranean character.
