Our opinion on the cuvée
A rich aroma of ripe red berries and mild spices. Smooth, balanced, and approachable on the palate. A fresh and harmonious finish.
Domaine Saint Martin d’Agel is a historic Languedoc vineyard, passed down from generation to generation since 1822. For eight generations, the same family has passionately cultivated 11 grape varieties across very diverse terroirs, driven by strong values of environmental respect, meticulous work, and the unique identity of each plot. Located along the ancient Via Domitia, the estate is part of a millennial history: a Roman villa once occupied the site, followed by a small abbey that welcomed pilgrims on their way to Santiago de Compostela, a memory still alive through certain cuvées such as Le Pèlerin or La Chapelle. Today, an extended family works daily at the estate to offer a true capture of its terroirs. Originating from exceptional schists, the wines of Domaine Saint Martin d’Agel are distinguished by their balance on the palate, their distinct personality, and a pronounced aromatic and mineral expression.
