Our opinion on the vintage
This dry Vouvray is a true delight to enjoy now or in the coming years. Its pale yellow color with brilliant platinum highlights is eye-catching, while its nose reveals captivating aromas of ripe white fruits, rose, honey, and dried fruit. On the palate, a roundness is evident, providing a beautiful structure and perfect balance. This wine is a true charmer that will perfectly complement shellfish, fish, and exotic cuisine.
Domaine Thierry Cosme is a family estate, producing Vouvray wines from father to son for four generations. Located on the north bank of the Loire River, between Amboise and Tours, it now cultivates 30 hectares of vines in the Vouvray and Touraine appellations. The story begins with Thierry Cosme's grandfather, who started as a vineyard worker before becoming an independent winemaker after purchasing his first plot. His son, Guy, then modernized the estate, before Thierry took over the family business in 1988 after studying in Champagne. Since then, he has developed the vineyard with respect for nature and the time-honored expertise passed down through generations. In 2021, his son, Tanguy, joined the estate, continuing this tradition of passing down knowledge and skills. The estate produces white and rosé wines renowned for their quality and their expression of the Loire Valley terroir.
