With its refreshing and delicate character, this wine is a great alternative to Sancerre. It pairs particularly well with seafood.

Vignobles Berthier

Vignobles Berthier

Loire | France

For the Berthier family, viticulture has been a continuous legacy spanning five generations. In 2012, Clément and Florian took over the family estate with a clear objective: to continue their work while asserting a contemporary vision, focused on the enjoyment and clarity of their wines. Their driving principle remains simple and steadfast: to produce wines that inspire sharing.

The core of their project remains the Coteaux du Giennois, an appellation they consistently and passionately champion. Sauvignon and Pinot Noir are cultivated here to express straightforward, clean profiles, driven by natural freshness. Gradually, the estate expanded to include Pouilly-Fumée and Menetou-Salon, always adhering to their guiding principle: respecting the identity of each terroir rather than seeking uniformity.

Vineyard work holds a central position. Soil maintenance and the preservation of biodiversity have guided their evolution towards organic farming, officially certified in 2022. This approach is complemented by precise winemaking, without artificial intervention, allowing the grapes and natural balances to express themselves.

Vignobles Berthier wines are distinguished by their honesty, finesse, and accessibility. These cuvées are crafted to endure, but above all, to create those «moments of pleasure» that the two brothers place at the heart of their commitment.
