Our opinion on the cuvée
This vegan wine presents a bright golden hue and an expressive nose with exotic and floral notes. On the palate, a smooth and ample attack reveals aromas of fresh mango and rose, accompanied by subtle fragrances of white flowers and nutmeg. Perfect for pairing with spicy dishes or aged cheeses, this wine is sure to captivate enthusiasts of fruity and aromatic wines.
Based in Dambach-la-Ville since 1720, Maison Joseph Cattin embodies the most accessible expression of Alsatian excellence. Nine generations later, Guillaume Cattin carries on a tradition of winemaking that began in the 18th century across 90 hectares of vineyards, guided by a clear vision: perfectly crafted crémants and varietal wines, designed first and foremost for enjoyment.
The estate has also developed the Belvédère Cattin, a contemporary wine tourism destination integrated into the vineyard. Joseph Cattin wines offer a straightforward and approachable take on the great Alsatian grape varieties—Riesling, Pinot Gris, and Gewürztraminer—with the consistency and clarity that have earned the estate its reputation both abroad and in France.
