Château de la Guerche Anjou White 2025
Anjou | White | 2025
A vineyard spanning some 40 hectares, nestled along the banks of the Layon River—which divides it in two—the Château de la Roulerie was founded in the 14th century, though its current structure dates from the late 19th century.
Cultivated by Philippe and Marie Germain for the past 25 years, it has been certified organic since 2015.
10 hectares of Cabernet Franc and 30 hectares of Chenin grow on hillsides and terraces composed mainly of schist.
When paired with ideal growing conditions, Chenin truly reveals its full potential.
Château de la Guerche comes from a vineyard acquired in 2009; Les Grappes is pleased to present their Anjou Blanc!

Our opinion on the cuvée
Hand-harvested with sorting both in the vineyard and on a sorting table, direct pressing, native yeasts; aged and vinified in stainless steel tanks, this cuvée is all about freshness.
Its attack is lively and briny, yet full-bodied thanks to the vintage.
A wine for friends, for aperitifs, and for sharing—but it also holds its own at the dinner table, especially with slightly spicy dishes.
