Our opinion on the cuvée
A lively nose with crisp red fruit and floral notes. Smooth and fresh on the palate, very easy to drink. A light and approachable finish.
In Bédarrides, between Orange, Avignon, and Carpentras, the Domaine de la Graveirette produces wines under the Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Côtes du Rhône, and Vin de Pays de Vaucluse appellations. Julien Mus, who trained in Burgundy before returning to the Vaucluse, founded the estate in 2005 after working as a cooperative member—a decisive turning point toward producing his own wines.
Demeter-certified since 2015 and the second biodynamic estate in the Rhône Valley in our selection, Julien offers wines of unexpected finesse for the region: full of liveliness and characterized by freshness rather than intense sun-driven power. These wines almost make you forget you’re in the Rhône.
