Our opinion on the cuvée
This wine offers delicate aromas of fresh fruit and herbal infusion, providing a lovely mouthfeel. Its pleasant texture invites conviviality. Perfect for pairing with a cheese soufflé, a brioche sausage, a hamburger, or tapas. A versatile wine that will satisfy those who appreciate simple, warm moments.
Since 2009, Adrien Roustan has built a solid reputation in the Côtes du Rhône in just a few years. Located on the hills above Beaumes-de-Venise, Domaine d'Ouréa—named after the Greek god of mountains—produces light, airy reds despite the predominance of Grenache: gentle extraction, short aging, and tannins of remarkable finesse.
The philosophy is decidedly non-interventionist: to bring out the best in the grapes, not to force them. In Vacqueyras, as in Beaumes, the wines gain depth without ever losing their balance. Adrien has even chosen ArdeaSeal corks to allow for natural variation during aging. These are luminous wines, shaped by the terroir’s character.
