Château Caminade Haut Guérin
Located in Génissac, facing the Pomerol and Saint-Émilion appellations, Château Caminade Haut Guérin is a family estate whose origins date back to the 1930s. Long shared between two families, the estate has been structured over generations and is now managed by Pierre Caminade and Léa Terral. The vineyard spans 30 hectares, with 13.5 hectares in production, spread across two plateaus with gravelly soils mixed with sand and clay. The grape varietal composition is based on Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Franc, Malbec, as well as Sauvignon Blanc, Sémillon, and Muscadelle for the white wines. Aging methods are tailored to each wine, utilizing tanks, lees, and acacia barrels. Committed to expressing the Génissac terroir as accurately as possible, the estate has been undergoing organic conversion since 2024, with the ambition of producing velvety, fresh, and fruity wines.
