Our opinion on the vintage
This Pinot Noir boasts a beautiful red color and a fruity nose with aromas of red berries. On the palate, it offers a pleasant lightness with lingering notes of wild strawberries. Perfect to accompany veal risotto or cooked ham, this wine can be enjoyed at any time of day. It can even surprise with dessert, especially with a raspberry tart. A wine that knows how to charm the taste buds.
In Seigy, on the left bank of the Cher river, Domaine Biet is a story of family and legacy. Julie and her father Jean-Marc now work hand-in-hand on this Loire vineyard, with a common vision: to produce honest wines, respectful of their environment and deeply rooted in their territory. The estate spans clay-limestone hills typical of Touraine, a few kilometers from Blois, in a lively rural setting.
Their connection to wine is old and deeply personal. Julie grew up among markets, fairs, and harvests, steeped in the gestures and sounds of the trade. After several experiences in wine sales, both in France and abroad, she returned to the estate with the desire to bring her own perspective, without breaking with the family heritage. The work is done as a duo, balancing tradition and adaptation, with each person contributing their own sensibilities.
