Deck & Donohue, the organic beer brewed just outside Paris
Deck & Donohue is a craft brewery founded in 2014, now located in Bonneuil-sur-Marne, about 20 kilometers from Paris. All of its beers are organic, and more than three-quarters of the malt used comes from the Île-de-France region.
The brewery is the first in France to have earned B Corp certification, which recognizes companies that are most committed to social and environmental causes. It has also been selected by Gault&Millau as one of the best breweries in the Île-de-France region, and its beers have been praised by Xavier Thuizat, France’s top sommelier.
The lineup features distinctive beers that are easy to serve: Pilsner D, a light lager and the brewery’s best-seller; Mission Pale Ale, with citrus notes; Indigo IPA, which is more bitter; Cuvée des Moissons, made with four grains; and L’Aube, a refreshing wheat beer.
