Domaine des Frères Laffitte

Domaine des Frères Laffitte

Sud-Ouest

Domaine des Frères Laffitte is a family-owned vineyard located in Guillombeyrie, in the Bas-Armagnac region (Gers). The Laffitte family has been growing grapes for generations, with the first records of the estate dating back to the Middle Ages. Today, winemakers Christophe and Sébastien Laffitte have restructured the 150-hectare vineyard and built a winery in 2013, before launching their wine ranges in 2015. Their wine production complements the estate’s traditional Armagnac production. The wines are produced under the Vins de Pays / IGP Côtes de Gascogne appellation and include white wines (blends of Gros and Petit Manseng, Sauvignon, and Colombard), rosés (various blends such as Merlot and Marselan), and reds. Some of the estate’s wines are vinified using destemming, gentle pressing, pre-fermentation maceration, and aging on lees.

The estate practices sustainable viticulture, with some of its wines bearing the High Environmental Value (HVE) label, though no full organic certification has been officially granted. The wines range from fresh, fruity whites to rich rosés and light reds typical of the Southwest.
