Domaine du Champ Chapron is a family estate with a history dating back to the 17th century, situated on the border of Brittany and Anjou, on the hillsides overlooking the Divatte, in close proximity to the Loire River. Being a winemaker here requires combining technical, human, and commercial skills, an demanding profession passed down through passion and example. In 1974, Joseph Suteau and Jeannine Suteau-Ollivier took over the estate, developed the vineyard, and initiated the breeding of Charolais cattle. In 1986, their son joined them after completing his oenological studies, before officially taking over the operation in 1999. The transmission continues with the next generation: Olivier, in turn, became involved in the vineyard and livestock farming, diversified the herd, and launched the IALACH brand in the Loire Valley. Located on mineral-rich hillsides near the Loire, the estate primarily produces supple, fruity, and elegant white wines with excellent aging potential, as well as a few more exclusive rosés and reds. A vibrant family vineyard, shaped by several generations, where the Loire terroir expresses itself with sincerity.
