Winemakers for four generations, the Létourneau family passionately cultivates 8.5 hectares at Domaine Les Chais Létourneau, located in Burgy, in southern Burgundy. The estate has historically focused on white wines, produced exclusively from Chardonnay, as well as the production of Crémants de Bourgogne vinified in their own cellars. Since 1902, the vines have been managed using sustainable viticulture (lutte raisonnée), with constant attention to the soils and the plants, in a quest for quality and consistency. The estate's history began with the production of vine plants in the early 20th century, before naturally expanding into sparkling wines in 1950, following oenological exchanges with Champagne. Today, certified HVE Level 3, the estate is committed to an environmentally friendly approach.
