Our opinion on the cuvée
This wine displays a straw-yellow color with green reflections. Its nose is characterized by typical Chardonnay aromas, blending notes of honey and flowers, enhanced by hints of Muscat. On the palate, it is elegant and smooth, while offering a beautiful freshness. Perfect for pairing with fish, seafood, white meats, or cheeses, this wine invites conviviality and is sure to please.
Located in the heart of the Golden Stone Country (Pays des Pierres Dorées), Domaine de Champ-Fleury is nestled within a peaceful landscape of rolling hills, about ten kilometers from Villefranche-sur-Saône. The vines, planted on well-exposed clay-limestone soils facing east, benefit from a bright and consistent environment. Here, Beaujolais expresses itself in a serene, balanced version, supported by a preserved natural setting.
The connection to the craft is deeply rooted. Louis-Marie grew up among the vines and in the cellar, taking over the family estate in 2007 from his father, who was himself an heir of several generations.
