Our opinion on the cuvée
It features fine bubbles and a golden hue. The nose reveals rich notes of hazelnuts and marzipan, as well as candied lemon and bergamot. On the palate, aromas of tarte tatin enhance the tasting experience, with an almost salty finish.
In the Marne Valley, Olivier Marteaux crafts champagnes that defy standardized profiles. Here, the work is done on a human scale, with constant attention paid to the balance and personality of the wines. The calling of a winemaker became clear to him at a very young age. Olivier grew up in the vineyards, accompanying his parents and grandparents, then trained at the Avize wine school before gaining extensive experience in various estates. This journey now informs a thoughtful approach, rooted in tradition and observation.
