Our opinion on the cuvée
This wine boasts a beautiful deep purple color that catches the eye. On the nose, you’ll discover rich aromas of red berries that evoke a sense of indulgence. On the palate, freshness and minerality stand out, with fine tannins providing structure. The delicate finish invites you to savor the moment. Perfect with braised veal roulade or soft-ripened cheeses, this wine is a true delight for the palate.
Founded in 1987 and located in the hamlet of “Les Chesnaies” in Cravant-les-Coteaux, Domaine Lambert is run by Béatrice and Pascal with a deeply human and committed approach to winemaking. Here, biodynamics is seen as the pursuit of the best balance between the vine, its environment, and the people who care for it every day. The estate cultivates approximately 25 hectares between Cravant-les-Coteaux and Chinon, focusing on two iconic grape varieties: Cabernet Franc for reds and rosés, and Chenin for whites. Practicing organic farming for nearly twenty years and certified Biodyvin biodynamics since 2005, the vines are tended without chemicals to preserve the terroir’s natural expression. The estate is also exploring amphora vinification, combining Tuscan clay with the Loire Valley’s clay-limestone soils to preserve the purity of the fruit and create unique cuvées such as Ligéris Dolium
