Our opinion on the cuvée

This red wine reveals an expressive nose characterized by red fruits and spicy notes. On the palate, it offers a harmonious balance with a beautiful structure and a delightful finish, ideal for pairing with grilled meats, charcuterie, and convivial meals.

Château de l'Amiral

Chateau de l'Amiral

Languedoc | France

Located on the Laure-Minervois plateau in the Aude department, Château de l'Amiral is a winery renowned for its historic 19th-century buildings and its diverse range of AOP Minervois and IGP Pays d'Oc wines. Rodolphe and Bénédicte are winemakers passionate about their terroir—soils composed of gravelly conglomerates, sandy sandstone, and clayey marl—but it is their creative freedom in the Pays d’Oc region that inspires them most.

As ambassadors of this appellation, they embrace boldness and experimentation—including an unexpected collaboration with a local brewery that uses grape must to create an original cuvée. A must-visit for curious wine lovers who want to venture off the beaten path.
