Coudoulis Estate

Le Rouge Vagabond 2023

Côtes du Rhône | Red | 2023

It was in the Gard department, on the hills above Saint-Laurent-des-Arbres, just above the village castle, that Bernard CALLET and his family decided a quarter of a century ago to create a grand cru of the Rhône Valley. The beating heart of COUDOULIS lies there, on the right bank of the Rhône, at a slight elevation: a single, contiguous 28-hectare alluvial plateau.

A sensational gift from nature, the estate’s vineyards are bathed in the rising sun. This gives the Coudoulis wines their unique delicacy and refinement.

Coudoulis Estate

Coudoulis Estate

Rhône Valley | France

Located on the hills above Saint-Laurent-des-Arbres, on the right bank of the Rhône, Domaine Coudoulis is one of the finest examples of the Lirac appellation. Since Bernard Callet acquired it in 1996, the estate has been guided by a strong ambition: to reveal the full potential of this still-underrated terroir and to produce wines capable of rivaling the great appellations of the Rhône Valley.

A family-owned estate in the heart of the southern Rhône

Founded in the 1960s and later taken over by the Callet family, the estate now spans a vast, contiguous 28-hectare alluvial plateau. The vines are planted on clay-limestone soils covered with rounded pebbles, typical of the great Rhône terroirs. Bathed in Mediterranean sunshine and situated at a slight elevation, they produce wines that combine power, finesse, and freshness.
