Domaine Pithon-Paillé champions a vision of wine centered on sharing, enjoyment, and the authentic expression of the terroir, far removed from the trappings of luxury and artifice. During blind tastings, a single question guides their work: Is the wine good, true to its character, and well-balanced?

Founded in 2008, the estate now spans approximately 9 hectares, primarily planted with Chenin, spread across the great terroirs of Anjou, Savennières, Coteaux du Layon, and Quarts de Chaume. A chameleon of a grape variety par excellence, Chenin reveals very different expressions depending on the soils, exposures, and microclimates, giving rise to cuvées with distinct identities.

The vineyards are cultivated using organic farming methods, with particular attention paid to soil health and the vineyard’s natural balance. In the winery, the focus is on the quality of the fruit and a faithful expression of the schist and volcanic terroirs, in order to preserve the purity and precision of the wines.
