Château des Annereaux, located in the Lalande de Pomerol appellation, embodies the excellence of family viticulture since 1390. It produces distinguished wines with excellent aging potential, cultivated using organic farming methods on Bordeaux's gravelly-sandy terroirs. Adopting an agro-ecological approach, Benjamin Hessel passionately perpetuates this heritage, preserving the environment by planting hedges, fruit trees, beehives, and flowering fallows. This domain is steeped in history, where determination and innovation have always been paramount, resulting in wines of remarkable power and elegance.

Our opinion on the cuvée
This unoaked wine highlights the freshness and intensity of red and black fruits. A blend from our vineyards and selected high-quality lots, it offers a round and balanced palate, perfect for immediate enjoyment. Easy to drink, it's a delightful and approachable Bordeaux, ideal for any occasion.
In Lalande-de-Pomerol, Château des Annereaux embodies an almost instinctive connection to the vineyard. Dominique, and subsequently Benjamin Hessel, have always embraced this profound bond with the land, the terroir, and the region. The estate has been managed organically since 2007, with unwavering attention to the natural balance of the vineyard and the finesse of its wines.
The winemaking philosophy primarily seeks elegance and drinkability. Extractions are carefully controlled, and aging is deliberately restrained—with approximately 25% new oak—to preserve the fruit and mouthfeel. The wines present supple profiles with melted tannins, offering precise and subtly spiced aromatics. They are enjoyable young, while also possessing significant aging potential. This approach was notably recognized in 2018 when certain cuvées were listed in the Élysée Palace wine cellar.
