Vignerons de Mancey
Les Vignerons de Mancey is a cooperative winery founded in 1929 by Victor Chapuis, bringing together winegrowers from several villages around Mancey, Royer, and Vers, a few kilometers from Tournus in Southern Burgundy. It comprises approximately 50 winegrowers cultivating nearly 120 hectares of vineyards located on the Mâconnais hillsides. The winery aims to be not only a production site but also a meeting and welcoming point centered around wine, offering tours, tastings, and wine tourism activities.
Production primarily vinifies classic Burgundian grape varieties: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Aligoté, and Gamay, yielding wines under the Mâcon Blanc, Mâcon Rouge, Mâcon-Mancey, and Bourgogne Rouge appellations, as well as Crémant de Bourgogne produced on-site with manual harvests and aging adapted to each cuvée. The winemaking process allows for the creation of various ranges, from fresh and light wines to characterful wines from old vines, as well as prestige cuvées.
