Our opinion on the cuvée
This Bordeaux rosé has a very pale color and reveals delicious notes of English candy and peach on the nose. On the palate, its lightness is complemented by a subtle mineral touch that adds freshness and liveliness. This easy-drinking wine evokes sunshine and moments of conviviality among friends. Enjoy it now to fully appreciate its sunny charm.
Winemakers in Bordeaux for four generations, Vignobles Dubois is located on the Right Bank, within the Bordeaux, Bordeaux Rosé, Lalande-de-Pomerol, Pomerol, and Saint-Émilion Grand Cru appellations. The family estate is situated along the Dordogne river, on clay-limestone soils known as «amoureuses» (loving soils). Since 1998, Xavier Dubois has been at the helm of the estate, continuing the work of previous generations while modernizing production facilities. The vineyard spans 18 hectares, planted with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc. The properties have been certified "Vigneron Indépendant" (Independent Winemaker) since the late 1980s. A restructuring is currently underway, involving uprooting and replanting with higher-quality rootstocks. The estate has also updated its packaging and created a tasting room to better welcome its customers. Mindful of sustainable development, Xavier Dubois is interested in reasoned and organic practices and has trained for conversion to organic farming.
