Where can you view your personal information?

You can view and/or edit your information while logged in to the site by going to the "My Account - My Personal Information" tab.

What data is collected, and when?

The data that may be collected and processed by our services is listed below.

When you create your account: account information, including your personal details (title, last name, first name, email address) and your company’s contact information (company name, business type, EU VAT number, SIRET number, billing and shipping addresses, phone number), as well as your login credentials. Information that must be provided is marked with an asterisk.

When you place an order: Data related to orders placed on our website, including your order history and invoice history (you can view your order history under the “My Account – My Orders” tab).

When you contact us:

  • Data related to incidents, returns, complaints, or issues with using our website;
  • A copy of our correspondence and any questions or comments you send us (emails, online chats, communications with customer service, or with Les Grappes Pro advisors).

When you log in and browse our website: data related to your visits to our website, including login and browsing data (products viewed, your favorite wines, your shopping carts). We also track website traffic, including the number of visitors, page views, and the frequency of visits to the site.

When we contact you by email: confirmation of receipt, and tracking of the open rate and click-through rate for each recipient of the email.

Who has access to your data, and why?

Your data is collected and processed by the authorized departments of Plugwine-Les Grappes and by the winemakers selling the products for the following purposes:

  • To process your orders and provide you with personalized recommendations (including your personal information and your company’s contact details);
  • Manage your customer account;
  • To manage our business relationship with you, including sending you marketing, sales, and promotional information (newsletters, special offers, limited-time promotions, surveys), and to identify which offers may be of interest to you;
  • Prevent fraud.

Certain data may be shared with our business partners/contractors

The data that may be transferred to and/or processed by our business partners/subcontractors includes data relating to:

  • Upon payment (credit card, check);
  • When your orders are shipped;

Finally, your data may be disclosed upon request by the authorities (judicial, law enforcement, or administrative).

What are your rights?

In accordance with the French Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978, you have the right to access, correct, and object to the processing of your personal data. You may exercise this right by sending a letter to the following address:

A request to delete your personal data does not prevent us from retaining data that must be kept in order to comply with our legal obligations (particularly tax and accounting obligations).
