L'Improbable 2024

Located on the heights of Tresses, right at the gates of Bordeaux, Château Lauduc is a family estate operated by the Grandeau family since 1923. The estate now spans approximately 60 hectares in the heart of Entre-deux-Mers, a region renowned for its gentle topography, clay-limestone soils, and its potential for balanced and consistent wines.

The vineyard benefits from an elevated position, promoting good natural ventilation and gradual grape ripening. This location helps preserve the freshness of the wines' balance, especially in warm vintages. Traditional Bordeaux grape varieties make up the vineyard's composition, with Merlot playing a central role, complemented by Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc depending on the plots.

The estate's management follows a structured environmental approach. Certified HVE (High Environmental Value) and committed to organic farming conversion since 2019, the vineyard is cultivated with particular attention to soil management, input reduction, and consistent quality from one vintage to the next. This approach aims to reconcile production volume with stylistic consistency.

In the cellar, winemaking is conducted with a focus on precision and clarity. Extractions are controlled to achieve supple tannins and an accessible structure, while aging supports the wine without seeking to transform it. Château Lauduc wines favor balanced profiles, based on clean fruit, a harmonious palate, and a faithful expression of their origin.
