Our opinion on the cuvée
Expressive nose of red fruits and delicate vegetal notes. Supple, fresh, and digestible on the palate. Light and convivial finish.
Founded in 1959 by Bernard Olivier with just one hectare, Domaine Olivier is now one of the largest estates in the Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil appellation, spanning 75 hectares. Patrick, followed by his children Florian and Marina, have gradually expanded this vineyard across terroirs of sand and gravel—which yield silky tannins and fruity expressions—and clay-limestone soils, which produce more structured wines with aging potential. A must-visit destination for lovers of Cabernet Franc from the Loire Valley.
