A light and fresh Cabernet Franc, very aromatic with fruity notes, featuring a herbaceous, almost minty touch and subtle tannins.

The Bruneau-Dupuy estate has a long family history. Sylvain and his wife settled at the estate in 1998. The winemaker thus "inherited" well-established vines from his parents and grandparents (paternal and maternal). He embraced organic farming in 2006 and began the "administrative" conversion process in 2013. They exclusively produce St Nicolas de Bourgueil, 100% Cabernet Franc. The terroir consists of 2/3 sand and gravel and 1/3 clay-limestone hillsides. "We make the wine we love, while trying to appeal to as many people as possible. I don't necessarily have a guru or mentor: I'm more of a self-taught individual, while still listening to my family and friends." For Sylvain, working the soil is a bit like working with wood: there's a noble aspect to it: "that's why the word 'terroir' takes on its full meaning!"
