Our opinion on the vintage
The color is a pale, salmon-pink, brilliant, evoking delicacy and freshness.
The nose is expressive and immediately alluring, with notes of crisp red fruits, tangy candy, and hints of citrus.
On the palate, the attack is lively and refreshing. The wine is supple, with beautiful fluidity and a silky texture. The balance between acidity and lusciousness is perfectly mastered, with a fruity and slightly exotic finish that prolongs the pleasure.
In Coursan, in the south of the Aude, the Domaine Ricardelle de Lautrec is situated in a landscape steeped in history, at the crossroads of La Clape, Minervois, and Corbières. The Via Domitia runs alongside the vineyards, reminding us that this territory has produced wine for centuries. The 50 hectares of the estate benefit from multiple influences, between the Mediterranean, garrigue, and dry winds, which naturally structure the balances.
In 1999, Lionel Boutié, a fourth-generation winemaker, made the demanding choice of organic farming, then biodynamics. Marginal at the time, this decision proved to be fundamental: the soils regained life, biodiversity returned, even leading to the return of large animals and raptors, which have become a strong marker of the estate.
