Château Guilhem, a family estate since 1878, cultivates its 35 hectares of vines using Organic Agriculture, nestled against the Malepère massif, earning it the nickname 'the other Languedoc'. The Atlantic grape varieties (Merlot, Cabernets, and Malbec) benefit from the friable soil of Malepère, which imparts a beautiful freshness to the wines. This is a delightful wine, perfectly expressing the typicity of the grape variety, stemming from a fascinating family history and a unique terroir.

Our opinion on the cuvée
This authentic Chardonnay captivates with its pale yellow color and classic bouquet of white flowers and white fruits, with an exotic touch. On the palate, its power and richness reveal flavors of ripe white fruit, finishing with a subtle note of freshness, accompanied by hints of toasted brioche. Ideal with grilled freshwater fish or white meats, this wine is sure to delight lovers of classic Chardonnay.

The soils play a central role in the balance of the wines. The Malepère massif takes its name from a friable rock, poor in suitability for construction but particularly
