Nestled between the sea and the mountains, Jean-Marc and Éliane Lafage have always dedicated their talents as winemakers to the terroirs of Roussillon, upholding the unwavering commitment to quality that has built Maison Lafage’s reputation. A family-owned estate since 1798, the domaine is now led by the seventh generation, who are deeply attached to this mosaic of landscapes and soils. Jean-Marc happily recounts his early days in the vineyards alongside his father, on steep plots worked entirely by hand, where his passion for viticulture was born. After gaining winemaking experience in France and abroad, the couple returned to Roussillon to build a project that reflects their vision. The vineyards are cultivated using sustainable farming practices and spread across three complementary regions: the Agly Valley for the richness of Catalan grape varieties, Les Aspres for their elegance, and the Côte Maritime for the freshness brought by sea breezes. A new winemaking facility, recently inaugurated, allows for even greater precision in the work. The estate also aims to develop wine tourism to better share this passion. Today, Lafage offers a wide range of wines, designed for every occasion, always guided by the same principles: respect for the terroir and the joy of wine.
