Château Guilhem, a family estate since 1878, cultivates its 35 hectares of vines using Organic Agriculture, nestled against the Malepère massif, earning it the nickname 'the other Languedoc'. The Atlantic grape varieties (Merlot, Cabernets, and Malbec) benefit from the friable soil of Malepère, which imparts a beautiful freshness to the wines. This is a delightful wine, perfectly expressing the typicity of the grape variety, stemming from a fascinating family history and a unique terroir.

This choice gives the wines a unique profile within the Languedoc landscape, often described as 'another Languedoc,' where freshness and structure take precedence over solar richness.
The soils play a central role in the balance of the wines. The Malepère massif takes its name from a friable rock, poor in suitability for construction but particularly
