This white wine, with its golden-yellow reflections, offers a complex and mineral nose, revealing aromas of white fruits and citrus. Located in Bas-Armagnac, near Eauze, Domaine de Laballe is a family estate with a viticultural history dating back to 1820. The estate is situated on the 'Sables Fauves' (Fawn Sands), a distinctive Bas-Armagnac terroir known for its ability to produce fine, fresh eaux-de-vie, as well as wines with a balanced profile.
Historically focused on Armagnac production, the estate controls the entire production chain, from vine to bottling. This technical expertise forms a crucial foundation for the development of its wines, a venture initiated in the 1980s. The vineyard plots dedicated to wine are located on Landes and Gascon terroirs, benefiting from sandy, well-drained soils, which are conducive to freshness and aromatic precision.
