Château de Calavon
At the heart of the Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence appellation, Château de Calavon is located in the commune of Lambesc. The estate has belonged to the same family for five generations and is part of a winemaking history dating back to the 19th century, making it one of the oldest estates in the area.
The vineyard benefits from a favorable geographical context, between Marseille and Arles, characterized by a Mediterranean climate tempered by the influences of the mistral wind. The soils, particularly suitable for the production of red wines, combine fine sands, structured clays, and a measured proportion of limestone pebbles, bringing both finesse and body to the wines.
