A Brief History of the Estate: In 1988, André Philippon purchased Château de Fleys. Initially, it consisted of only a 1-hectare walled vineyard. This building is a hunting lodge dating from the late 17th century, having belonged to the Lord of Parthenay, equerry to Louis XIV. Since then, the Château has undergone numerous changes. In 2006, Béatrice and Benoît, André Philippon's children, decided to build a new winery. More modern and better equipped, it can be found at 2 rue des Fourneaux. Today, the estate is run by Julien's great-grandchildren. This is how Béatrice, Benoît, and Olivier joined the estate in 2007.
